Adin Ross claims he was scammed out of $200K

During a recent in-real-life (IRL) stream, Ross shared with his audience that he had made a mistake and referred to himself as an "idiot."

He explained, "So, I paid, uh, $200,000 for an unreleased song. It was AI. I got scammed for $200,000 for buying an AI song. Y'all want to hear it? Listen how AI this is, listen chat. I bought the AI version of the song, I'm an idiot!"

After playing the song for a while, Ross seemed unsure about its authenticity, asking, "Wait, is that AI or is that real?"

Ross then proceeded to provide a detailed account of how the scam unfolded. It turned out that he came across a snippet of the song online, with an individual claiming they could sell him the entire tune for $200,000.

Ross recounted, "I one time spent $200,000 on an unreleased song, a leaked song. A snippet I heard online and then this guy hit me up and played it. And he was like, 'I can get you that sh*t. Hit me up, $200,000.' I was like, 'What? Why is it so expensive?'"

Ross recently donated $100,000 to fellow creator Fousey, shared the snippet that had led him to purchase the AI-generated song, saying, "Here is an actual snippet of the song."

After playing the snippet, Ross reflected on the past, acknowledging that he was a "young kid" at the time and was thrilled when the man claimed that the song was created by Travis Scott and Ye.

He recalled, "I bought that for $200,000. Mind you, I am a young kid, this is from years ago, I am a young kid. And I am like, 'F*ck! Travis, Ye?' I buy this."

Meanwhile, Ross expressed regret over the purchase and described it as a scam, he still seemed uncertain about whether the song was truly AI-generated or not.
