AC Valhalla Wrath of the Druids Not Working? Here's How To Start The DLC
AC Valhalla just got its first DLC but it is not working for many players, so here’s how to start the new ‘Wrath of the Druids’ DLC.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is among the better AC games of the last 5 years.
Ubisoft recently released its newest expansion, the ‘Wrath of the Druids‘ DLC. However, for many AC Valhalla players, the Druids DLC is not working.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to start the ‘Wraith of the Druids’ DLC in AC Valhalla.

AC Valhalla Wrath of the Druids DLC Not Working on Xbox/PS? Here’s a quick fix
Twitter user @GotSolid reported a workaround for Xbox users to download the DLC on the system. Bear in mind that this is for players who have the Season Pass and are still unable to install the game.

Follow these steps:
- View the Gold Edition in the store
- Go to ‘Included In This Bundle’
- Click on the Season Pass
- Scroll down to ‘Included in this Bundle’
- You should find ‘Wrath of the Druids’ there to install
Some users who initially reported that the DLC was still unavailable for download, later got it to work after doing a hard reset of the console.
Reddit user u/juventinosochi reported a workaround for PlayStation users. Follow these steps to start downloading the DLC:
- Go to the PS Store’s main page
- Next, go to add-ons
- Choose the ‘Wrath of the Druids’ picture and now you will be able finally to download it
- For some reason it asks you to choose 1 of 3 versions to download but they are all the same

For PC, we will report a workaround once we find one. Until then, your best bet is to wait for Ubisoft to patch things up with a new update when they have finally identified the problem and announced it on Twitter.
How To Start ‘Wrath of the Druids’ DLC In AC Valhalla
If you’ve already have the DLC installed in the game, here’s a quick guide on how to get the quests in the DLC started:
- Start the game and load a save. The DLC’s page with information will show up with a summary.
- You’ll get a new quest called ‘Irish Trade’. Make it your main quest.
- Head over to Ravensthrope where you’ll hear a horn blown signalling a new arrival.
- Head over to the docks where you’ll find a character named Azar who will begin your quest.
