2 Charlotte Country Day coaches fired following fight on school campus – WSOC TV
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An altercation that occurred between a coach and an assistant coach on the Charlotte Country Day School campus Wednesday night led to one of them threatening the other with a firearm, police said.
School officials told Channel 9 Thursday morning that both coaches involved are no longer employed with the school.
Tyrez Tarell Neal, 29, was working as the head coach of the JV women’s basketball team at Charlotte Country Day School when an altercation happened between Neal and an assistant coach with the varsity men’s basketball team, Dijuan Harris, 29.
Neal threatened Harris with the use of a firearm at the school on Carmel Road in south Charlotte, police said.
