'Shocking' Richarlison miss leaves Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou and talkSPORT pundit astounded

Richarlison left everyone stunned with a wild miss in Tottenham's 1-0 win at Luton.

Two minutes into their clash at Kenilworth Road, Dejan Kulusevski whipped in a teasing ball into the box.

Looking to get on the end of it was Richarlison inside the six-yard area and many expected the net to bulge.

However, the Brazilian sent his touch wide of the goal in what was a shocking miss, with manager Ange Postecoglou on the touchline in disbelief.

talkSPORT's Dean Ashton was also left wondering how Richarlison didn't find the back of the net as Spurs piled on the pressure.

"Shocking miss," he said on commentary. "Simple as that. It doesn't get much easier.

"The ball in from Kulusevski was sensational, almost undefendable. It's a simple side-foot in from Richarlison.

"I don't know why he's made such a mess of it."

Tottenham were able to beat Luton 1-0 despite a red card for Yves Bissouma on the stroke of half-time.

Richarlison has scored twice for Spurs this season and is already one goal off his tally for last term.
