'GMA's Erielle Reshef dodges major on-air wardrobe malfunction after crew uses creative camera angles

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ correspondent Erielle Reshef recently survived an awkward wardrobe malfunction while reporting from the studio on live. 

She later revealed that her skirt ripped while she was on camera, but she was saved by some quick thinking by her colleagues who utilized some tactical "camera angles."

Reshef was on the morning show and was joined by Michael Strahan, George Stephanopoulos, and Rebecca Jarvis when the unfortunate incident happened.

'GMA's Erielle Reshef dodges awkward on-air wardrobe blunder courtesy of colleagues

Erielle Reshef, who joined ABC in 2017, was present on the morning show to report on exclusive information about Snapchat, after the app revealed that it was putting new safeguards in place to help protect teen users of the app. 

She was seen sporting a green top with a knee-length denim skirt and completed her look with white heels. The ‘GMA’ correspondent had her hair down in textured waves but despite the gorgeous appearance, Reshef later revealed that she'd suffered a major malfunction just before the cameras turned to her.

Reshef brought this fact to the forefront via her Instagram story and disclosed that her skirt apparently ripped while she was on air.

She wrote, "When your skirt rips SECONDS before a wide shot on @goodmorningamerica," along with a selection of embarrassed emojis. However, Reshef mentioned that it was her colleagues who came to her rescue with their quick thinking by using different camera angles.

She added, "Thank goodness for @liliana01, @kecia_r_stewart, @johnettatao, @greedo320, for saving the day with creative [camera] angles + [safety pin] + [needle and thread]."

Erielle Reshef shares snaps from ‘GMA’ co-host Robin Roberts’ wedding

Erielle Reshef was present at her co-host Robin Roberts’ wedding and shared some gorgeous snaps from the "magical night."

She shared snaps of Roberts dancing with her wife Amber Laign and also with her other ‘GMA’ co-hosts such as Rebecca Jarvis, Ginger Zee, and Gio Benitez.

Reshef wore a black dress and sported a huge smile in all her snaps and was accompanied by her husband Daniel Frankenstein. 

She captioned the post, “Love is the answer what a touching, vibrant, epic, MAGICAL night celebrating two stunning brides. MAZEL TOV @robinrobertsgma & @amberita1227…L’Chayim - to a lifetime of health, happiness, joy and DANCING together! We love you!”
